WHAT IS GREY MATTER??
This page is focused on commissions, projects in development, and fractured thoughts of incomplete plays I’m still exploring.
GREAT BEGINNINGS TO NOWHERE: DIVING INTO WATER, WHILE DROWNING IN SPACE
This is the prequel to PERSEPHONE’S SPRING. This is Meg’s story. In this full-length play, you will discover who is the man who murdered her? How was Des involved? But most importantly, who Meg was before these men entered her life.
GET BROKEN LIKE ME: A JOURNEY IN MY MIND
While I was celebrating my 8th birthday, Sarah Kane hung herself. February 20th is a hard date for Sarah Kane’s loved ones. My birthday is forever haunting to people I don’t even know. People I may never meet. Although Sarah and I have lived drastically different lives, I cannot stop finding intersections in our stories. The more I’ve tried to break away from her, the closer I’ve felt to her and the more her words resonate with me. This play is the journey I took, getting lost in Sarah Kane and accepting the tether between us.
UNLADYLIKE – A WOMEN’S BASKETBALL PLAY
“Be ladylike” I grew up playing basketball. I have sweat, bled, and torn ligaments for this sport. I’ve sacrificed my mind, body, and time for the team. Some seasons I played every minute of every game, while others I rode the bench. No matter where I was I had adoration for this sport on and off the court. However, none of this mattered to the male refs, fans, or coaches, who thought my hustle, my temper, my passion for the game was inappropriate. I was not disrespectful. I was not rude. I was not undisciplined. I was just “Unladylike.”
